"Music is nothing without nature"

Djamzer is an emerging Swiss DJ and producer from Neuchâtel, known for blending hard groove, classic 90s influences, and catchy melodies into infectious, percussive beats. With dynamic energy, he has secured top slots across Europe, including Boiler Room and Hör Berlin, establishing himself as a vibrant force in the electronic music scene.

Let’s dive into the influences behind his incredible music and commitment to the #PlasticFreeParty in our Eco-Rider Artist Q+A!

Hey Djamzer! How would you describe the relationship between music and the planet?

Totally complementary, the music was created by nature, seized it to create the first instruments. And now, there are thousands of us going out into nature to enjoy the festivals and the various open air. Music is nothing without nature.

What is your favourite eco-conscious festival and why?

Probably the Dimensions Festival. They have a wide choice of vegan and vegetarian restoration, little waste, uses an existing space that limits the constructions to only use. But still a lot of plastic unfortunately...

Sustainable travel hack to share with the masses

I don't see much other than using the trains as much as possible, and if that's not possible, flying only if you can stay there long enough. And of course, never forget your reusable gourd so you don't have to buy a plastic bottle :)

Little green steps go a long way. What are some of yours?

I stopped eating meat for a while, I almost have a vegan diet. I also try to buy as much as possible organic and local products, and only what I need. I don't have a car either, I only travel by train. Just little things, which I think are not complicated and can enormously change my impact on the environment.

What are some of your favourite plant-based foods or alternatives?

First of all, I think it's not necessarily a good idea to find alternatives to meat. Well-cooked vegetables are just as good, and it's not necessarily smart to eat products that come from the other side of the world, it can be even worse than eating meat. But if there's a way to have something local, a good dish with seitan, or a good tofu is definitely great!

What's your plastic "guilty pleasure"?

Cigarette packages :( Shitty things

What's your #1 eco-friendly item?

Consciousness

What single-use plastic or unsustainable product will you never use again?

The plastic bottles for sure! All products that come from big companies like Nestlé, Coca-Cola etc. No clothes that come from China or countries where the violation of human rights and the planet is more than widespread.

And finally...What's your song to save the world to?
