On Saturday night, in the heart of Climate Week NYC, we launched something bigger than a party: a movement. The Zero Plastic Club: NYC was born to show that nightlife can be more than music and lights — it can be a catalyst for change. With artists, venues, and allies joining forces, we proved that culture has the power to lead the shift toward a plastic-free future.

What We Did
We teamed up with Future Meets Present for their 9th annual Marketplace of the Future during Climate Week NYC, curating the Music x Climate segment of this crazy cool event. It was more than a party — it was the official launch of our Call to Action for NYC Nightlife to Go Plastic-Free.
We brought together old friends and new allies: the NYC Office of Nightlife, DJs4CA, Psychedelics for Climate Action, Daybrkr, OVO Vodka, CupZero, AlphaTheta, OpenWater, and Mezcal Mezul — all uniting to show that music culture can lead the shift. Also, House of Yes stepped up as the leading venue that will mentor upcoming member clubs of the Zero Plastic Club: NYC!
And of course, we sprinkled over the top a party with purpose level of soundwaves! Powered by a 5-star lineup of sound-spiring ambassadors Madame Gandhi, Eli Fola, Gary Richards (aka Destructo), Eli Soul Clap, Sage Bava — each of them are the shiny living proof that music is the most powerful force for positive change.
You got it - Marketplace of the Future’s 9th gathering was a vibe - so much so, we wished it’d never stop.

What It Came Down To
✨ A full-day of climate-positive exhibitors
✨ A starry line-up of community partners
✨ A dancefloor full of joy and purpose
✨ A community rising to rewrite the story of nightlife
Why We Did This
We did this because plastic overconsumption has set in a real hotspot in nightlife — from bottles to cups to wristbands — and its impact on both the planet and our health is staggering. It’s got to stop.
We’ve already built a proven-track recipe: in France, the Zero Plastic Club model has helped 24 venues eliminate over 1,02 Million single-use items annually, cutting more than 10 tonnes of CO₂eq emissions.
Now, we’re ready to ripple this impact across the globe. And where better to start than New York City, the historical beating heart of U.S. nightlife and a $35 billion economy built on culture and connection?
